# Apollo Deploy

> Apollo Deploy is an open-source deployment and application-operations platform for humans, CLIs, CI pipelines, APIs, and AI agents. It creates a readable plan before production changes, keeps approval separate from proposal, verifies health, and records every action.

Apollo Deploy and Apollo Signal are two separate Apollo products:

- **Apollo Deploy**: controlled application deployment and production operations.
- **Apollo Signal**: transactional email API, SMTP relay, delivery events, and deliverability tooling.

It is not a source-control system, CI/CD runner, monitoring replacement, or feature-flag system. It connects those systems into a shared plan, policy, health, and audit workflow. AI agents use the same API and permission model as other callers; new agents start with read and propose access, while broader actions require granted scope or approval.

## Apollo Signal summary

[Apollo Signal](https://apollodeploy.com/signal) is a transactional email API for password resets, receipts, verification emails, and alerts. It supports REST API, typed SDKs, SMTP relay on port 587 with STARTTLS, sandbox testing, scoped test and live keys, HMAC-signed webhooks, retries, domain verification, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, automatic suppressions, engagement tracking, and real-time delivery events.
